Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of EU
Elected on May 4, 2017 by the 44th National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Since 2011 she holds the position as Minister of Regional Development and Public Work after being a Deputy Minister of the same Ministry for 2 years while also being a National Coordinator for the Participation of Bulgaria in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region.
The educational background of Mrs. Pavlova includes degrees as Doctor of Economics from 2006, Master of Public Administration and European Integration as well as specializations in law, Financial Management and Control of the European Funds, exchange of practical experience – Financial Control of EU Structural Funds (Ministry of Finance of Dublin, Ireland, 2004) and Financial Management, United Kingdom in 2004.
She is an author and co-author of more than 10 scientific publications, books, articles, monographs
Lecturer on Fundamentals of Public Administration, Strategic Public Sector Management, Project Management, funded by EU funds and programs.
